Statistics show that investments in fixed assets aimed at protecting the atmospheric air and the current costs of its protection are increasing from year to year. At the same time, the increase in financial expenditures has not yet led to an improvement in the environmental situation. One of the explanations for this is insufficient attention to the development of new, perfect gas cleaning equipment. Effective environmental protection is possible only if there is any further development of research work in the gas cleaning industry. In modern economic conditions, the basic principle of competition - the best price-quality ratio - requires that a gas cleaning plant meet this criterion. Sometimes cheap equipment leads to a sharp decrease in the quality of the gas cleaning unit, so moving the center of economic indicators from the equipment to the installation required an individual approach to each installation, which, naturally, was known before. Therefore, the selection of equipment is carried out individually, using various components and components of this equipment. In each case, in fact, the original filter is obtained, and the serial filters lose their meaning as well as the size range. Thus, the transition from a standard size to an exclusive design is economically justified and technically necessary. In this regard, the role and importance of scientific research aimed at developing new and improving existing gas cleaning equipment, as well as improving methods and techniques for measuring the parameters of dust and gas streams, increase even more. These tasks can not be solved without years of experience in scientific research and qualified scientific personnel.

All this is in the holding group "Condor Eco-SF NIIOGAZ", where for the years of existence of the organizations included in it, 20 candidates of technical sciences were prepared, the whole series of new gas cleaning devices were developed, tens of patents and author's certificates were obtained. The employees of the holding have written hundreds of scientific articles on gas purification, created such unique monographs as "Atlas of Industrial Dusts", "Ecotechnics", "Catalog of Dust Collecting Equipment", "System for Ensuring the Reliability of Operation of Apparatus and Installations of Gas Cleaning and Dust Collecting Equipment Based on Environmental Requirements" , "Gas cleaning formula", "Practical ecotechnics: modern gas-cleaning equipment". In the holding, there is a wide-profile experimental-bench base, which allows the laboratory conditions to conduct unique experiments on the study of the electrophysical, aerodynamic, strength characteristics of gas cleaning apparatuses. Such an experimental and research base has no other similar organization in Russia in the CIS countries.

Currently, the holding employs 2 doctors of technical sciences and 7 candidates of technical sciences and 1 candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.

Additional information

  • Installations of gas cleaning are completed with electrostatic precipitators of the fourth generation EGA-M, EGAV, EGSM, EGV-M, EGSE.
    These electrostatic precipitators, developed on the basis of the scientific foundations for the creation of a new generation of gas-cleaning equipment made in ZAO Condor-Eco, have a metal consumption of less than 20% and a smaller volume of 40% compared to the serial devices. The use of corona elements of the SF type with a low voltage of ignition of the corona and high-precision deposition elements allows to catch fine dust with a high specific electric resistance. At the same time, the dust content is reached up to 20...50mg/m3. In the reconstruction of electrostatic precipitators in cramped conditions, electrodes up to 18 m high can be made. For the first time in the domestic practice of gas purification, a combined apparatus consisting of an electrostatic precipitator and a filter, providing an exhaust dust content of 5...10mg/m3 with a service life of bags of 5 years, has been developed.
  • Installations of gas purification with filtering devices IV generation FRIA, FRMI, FRI-OSD, FRKITS, FKI.
    FRMI – are developed taking into account the requirements in the branches of heat power engineering, non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy. They represent a set of modules that form a standard size range of filters with a filtering area from 800 to 16000 m2, with an estimated capacity for the cleaned gas from 70000 to 1380000 m3/h.
    FRIA – for systems of "dry" gas purification of aluminum production, in order to reduce the abrasive wear of hoses due to the construction of the gas pipeline, moderate rates of dust and gas flow and its uniform distribution along the hoses are ensured.
    FKI – cassette-type filters, can be installed in the premises of working shops, where space is limited.
  • Cyclones SCN, CN, SKCN, VPC etc.
    These devices are highly efficient, resistant to abrasion, with low hydraulic resistance. The theory of calculation and the method for selecting cyclones have been developed, as well as technical documentation of apparatuses. This allows you to meet all the requirements of the customer in the shortest time.
